Hello! All silver needs cleaning and occasional polishing because it naturally tarnishes when exposed to oxygen. Our advice is that when not wearing it, keep the Vahan bracelet in its pouch, or a zip-lock bag to keep the oxygen away. We recommend that you purchase a Speed Brite ionic jewelry cleaner also (will work for any type of jewelry). This cleaning machine is small in size, but it works amazingly on sterling jewelry!
