On the inside of the ring there is a pressure fit line in the center. So a hole could not be drilled to bezel set a stone. It would have to be off centered. And also due to the ring, the gemstone diameter would have to be very small - 1.5mm. Would be difficult to really appreciate at that size. Also, would be limited to diamond, sapphire or ruby due to the hard material of the ring the gemstone would need to be a hard one.
