Hello, This is the price for the mounting. The center stone is free - it is a cubic zirconia and the manufacturer sets it into the ring "soft set" so it doesn't damage the prongs. It is meant to just be a temporary stone, so the shopper can see what the ring will look like with a real diamond set into it.
