Hello!  Thanks for reaching out.  Unfortunately, the U.S. Mint did not strike any 1927 $5 gold coins.  They stopped in 1916, and then made one final one in 1929 (which is in the $15K - $30K range!).    However, the U.S. Mint did make some $2.50 Indian Head gold coins in 1927.  So there is that option.  Choosing a particular date is not always possible, but we can try to accomodate.  Let us know if you would be interested in a random date for the $5 Indian, or if you want to try to go with a 1927 $2.50 Indian for your hand made moneyclip.
